Kathy practices in the area of Community Association Law with a focus on representation of master, condominium and homeowners associations throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area. Kathy’s clients include high-rise condominiums, mixed-use communities, large townhome developments and small single family subdivisions. She has litigated real estate related cases in both the State and Federal Courts. An active member of the Community Associations Institute, she served on its Board of Directors and as President. She served as the editor of Georgia Commons, a Publication of Community Associations Institute of Georgia, Inc. and has published numerous articles in that magazine, including “Show Me the Money! Or Why it Takes So Long to Obtain a Judgment in Georgia,” “Naming Names: Should an Association Publish the Names of Assessment Delinquents?” and “Does it Warrant a Warrant? What the Criminal Justice System can Offer to Community Associations.” She is a frequent speaker on topics relating to the administration of community associations.
